my worst fear was realized this morning
so i pored myself a bowl of cereal this morning.. and by the way im anal about experation dates.. i mean i dont drink it on the day of the sell by date.. UNTIL.. the date said march 7.. my fatal mistake i guess. but i thought it would be ok so i poured the milk in the cereal and took a bite.. it was so discusting. i could actually smell it a split second before i took the bite but it was too late. i did the little gag thing with it all in my mouth.. man i think im traumatized.
i had a good night last night though.. jill pulled her first all nighter and we had the dueces while watching the sun come up.. it was romantic as hell. ha

    a great poem i heard
once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines
    he wrote a poem
    and he called in "Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
and thats what it was all about
and his teacher gave him an A
    and a gold star
and his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts
that was the year father tracy
took ass the kids to the zoo
and he let them sing on the bus
and his little sister was born
with tiny toenails and no hair
and his mother and father kissed a lot
and the girl around the corner sent him a
valentine signed with a row of X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's meant
and his father always tucked him in bed at night
and was always there to do it

once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
    he wrote a poem
    and he called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
and thats what it was all about
and his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
and his mother never hung it on th kitchen door
    because of its new paint
    and the kids told him
    that father tracy smoked cigars
and left butts on the pews
and sometimes they would burn holes
that was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
and the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see santa claus
and the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed a lot
and his father never tucked hium in bed at night
    and his father got mad
when he cried for him to do it

once on a paper torn from his notebook
    he wrote a poem
and he called it "Innocence: a question"
because that was the question about his girl
and thats what it was all about
and his professor gave him an A
    and a strange steady look
and his mothre never hung it on the kitchen door
    because he never showed her
that was the year father tracy died
and he forgot how the end
    of the apostle creed went
    and he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
and his mother and father never kissed
    or even talked
and the girl around the corner
    wore too much makeup
that made him cough when he kissed her
    but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
and at 3 am he tucked himself into bed
    his father snoring soundly

thats why on the back of a brown paper bag
    he tried another poem
and he called it "Absolutely nothing"
because thats what it was really all about
and he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist
and he hung it on the bathroom
because this time he didnt think
    he could reach the kitchen

    interesting
    darkblueeyes
Your eye color is dark blue. You rely on your logic
solely, and may have more mature interests than
many of your friends and family your age. You
can sometimes also be interverted and lonely
from a lack of understanding with people, and
can be rather frustrated with some types of
folke. Some may describe you as cold and
distant, and you are honest with how you feel
    about things.

    sucks to be you
right now im in california, its good fun. im only online right now because i had to send the rental car back today so i came to work with sara..the girl i am staying with. so heres what has happened:
Friday- i went back to LAX and met jackie and tina... i sorta got pulled over hahaha. the only reason is because i didnt know what i was doing and jackie and her mom ran out into the street, the sop pulled me over because i was putting my passengers in danger, it was retarted but i didnt get a ticket. so anyway we went to taco bell right outside the airport. then i drove them back.. it wasnt a long layover. then i tried going to venice beach, but was having trouble finding it. so i got back on the freeway and went to a mall, it was huge. i walked around there but got bored fast and drove back to the house.
saturday- i did nothing, iot was great, i read some of my book and then watched tv.. all day. oh yeah i looked up the kingdom hall, there are 4 in lancaster, i called them each 3 tiomes but no one ever answered. so i never made it to a meeting, i feel bad but i did my best
Sunday- i watched my big fat greek weddiung for the first time, it was great. then i went to hollywood and walked around. on sunset blvd there is this great music store its called amoeba music, huge! ther i bought a punk/emo comp cd and the early november cd that i didnt have. i of course took a pic of the hollywood sign. after that i drove santa monica blvd through boys town... it was so funny there were billboards and banners about gay pride. i took a picture of one. santa monica blvd takes you through beverly hills, so i saw that and drove rodeo drive, it was amazing. then i finally got to santa monica and parked. i walked the promanade and did shopping, they have a fossil store with clothes, how awesome. i next went on the pier where they have all these fair rides, and walked to the end... all ocean.. so cool. there i watched the sunset and took many pictures, i think it was the most beautiful sight i have ever seen. jehovah is wonderful by the way. then i drove home. once i got back home i was in the mood to see a movie, so i went and saw sstuck on you, all by myself.
monday- this was my long drive, i drove to san diego.. about a 3 hour drive. i went to the zoo. real cool. while i was on my way there, their was an earthquake, dont worry, i didnt feel a thing. it was in the moneray area, like 50 miles north of where i am staying and like 200 miles north of where i was. so anyway i walked around the zoo for a few hours. so yeah i go to the zoo that is famous for panda bears.. did i see any panda bears? nope, there was like an hour and a half wait to see them and by the time i would have gotten there, they wouldnt have been able to be seen, they were onlyout for a cetain period of time. but i saw so many other animals.. lots i had never heard of but it was super cool. after that i went to tara's house(a sister that used to go to sarahs hall) on the way was the most horible experience. up to this point i hadnt gotten lost at all. but i got lost in san diego. first i couldnt find the highway i needed to get on, and didnt have my phone to find out, so i looked at the map and went on a different highway, this one would take me to more highways that would get me to her house. so i get on this one highway... the 74, a little 2 lane highway that winds through the mountains. this would have been really cool, but there was not a gas station for about, oh 70 miles. and less than half way the gas light went on. i was so freaking scared i actually thought i was going to run out of gas and die on this mountain. oh man was i a prayin! and like 20 miles later, we started going down the mountain and i was able to put the car in neutral and coast down the mountain. at the bottom there was a gas station and i made it. it was horrible though, i was shaking the whole rest of the way there. and i thanked the little asian gas station owners for being there. so i finally made it to taras house... its a tiny little house with 7 people living there. they are super sweet people the reeds are. we all watched forrest gump then went to bed.
tuesday- we had breakfast and then went to the mall tara works at.. now she told me that she worked at a smoothie place, and thats cool but sarah.. guess what the smoothie place is called? surf city! yeah thats right the greatest smoothie place.. they make peanut butter banana smoothies, mine and sarahs favorite. tara made me one. it was yummy. then i went to pac sun and bought some stuff. then we went to palm springs.. we took some pictures, then saw mona lisa smile, eh a pretty boring movie. then we went on this awesome thing. we went on a tram, which takes you up to the top of the mountain. real cool, then we ate lunch at the top and came back down, there were lots of pictures... and it was snowing, everyone was real excited about the snow.. i wasnt. after that we went back home and i headed back to the house i was staying at.
wednesday- yeah im at saras work til like 1 then im just gonna do nothing the rest of the day, probably pack.
tomorrow- i leave tomorrow and my whole day will be shot, due to the time change. well i will bve waking up like 6:30, we have to leave by like 7 to get to the airport by 9. i will be sitting in the sirport by myself til noon when my flight leave. it is a 5 hour flight so i would get here at 5 but theres a 3 hour different so i will get here around 8, so i should be home around 9. yay.
ok then, that was my trip, i hoped you enjoyed it as much as i did. but probably not, hahaha. i will say though that i am sorta excited to be back in michigan, to know where im going, to dirve my own car and to sleep in my own bed. and to see all of you who i may have missed.

the greatest thing ive ever read!
    Learn To Skank

    Step One: Bend Forward
Get that stiffness out of your spine, hang forward, but not too far, and get those arms and knees loose.

Step Two: Bend Knees and Elbows
Bend your elbows and clench your fists if you want to get that real rude attitude. Try to look more like you're getting ready to go sprinting rather than skiing.

    Step Three: Claim Your Space
Get those feet shoulder-length apart, move one foot slightly forward, and take up as much of the dance floor as you can while you start your arms cranking back and forth. It might help if you pretend your shaking some maracas.

    Step Four: Start Moving
Feel the beat. Get those arms swinging slightly and feel the bounce as you swing your hips. Move your weight from one foot to the other with each skank. Make sure you coordinate your arms and legs. If your right fist is moving forward, you should also be moving your right knee forward as you shift your weight. Then shift to the left.

Step Five: Skank to the Beat
Now start to vibe with some classic ska sounds. If you're doing a classic skank, your feet should not be moving too much. Rather, you should be bouncing with the upbeats and cranking those elbows. For added style, get a real cool expression and stare somewhere off in the upper corner of the room. Preferably with shades.

Now you've got the basic skank, the move that just came naturally to young Jamaicans. Of course, the form is completely open to personal styles and variations. Here's an ever-so-quick review of some of the added variations in ska's brief but great history:

    Rocksteady: Steady Rock Easy
For the more mellow rocksteady era, you'll want more of a pose, less movement in the arms and legs ('cause it too HOT!) and most of your expression coming from your hips.

    Skinhead Stomp
When you're ready to strap on your braces and Doc Martens, you can add more of a snarl and a bit more machoism and testosterone (yes, even you skinhead gals) to the classic skank. The stomp comes in when you really lift those boots off the ground and start thomping with the more uptempo rhythms of early reggae.

Two Tone: Kick-starting the 80s Skank
Here's the classic "rudeboy" skank that most young ska fans today know. As ska mixes with the tempo of punk, you'll be adding a kick forward with every beat. You'll have more of a skip and a hop in there as you emulate your favorite British ska idols.

    Ska-core: Slam and Mosh
When the skank hits the States, the more hardcore fans take more from the punk/metal moshpit then they do from Kingston style. This is where you really start to see some dance culture clashes on the club floors.

Third Wave: That "Running in Place" Thing
Ah, the great mystery of the 90s. Little skasters jogging in place as fast as they can. Somewhere in there, there is still some slight evidence of the skank, and therefore, some hope.
